TESTING PROCEDURES for SEVENTH GRADE
Listen closely to all oral instructions and read carefully all written directions.
Be prepared with all materials including pencils, pens, and paper before the test begins.
The purpose of testing is to assess your understanding of material; therefore, be certain that you do not use any supplemental study aids during the test.
Restroom breaks should be taken before or after the test.
Use a cover sheet. You neither want to see answers from a neighbor's paper or have someone view answers on your paper.
Keep your test and answer sheet with you at all times during the testing period. Another student should never have your test or answer sheet during testing.
If you have a question during testing ask your teacher. Talking is not permitted during testing. It is not appropriate to ask a classmate your question.
After testing is completed, do not discuss the test with other students.
